On Wednesday, 25th of May, Limerick based Digital Transformation firm, ActionPoint was awarded Private Sector- IT Project of the Year at the Tech Excellence Awards at the Royal Marine Hotel in Dublin.
The award acknowledged the cutting-edge software and use of Cloud in ‘FarmOps’, a decision support app for dairy and beef farmers commissioned by Agri- firm Munster Bovine and developed by ActionPoint.
ActionPoint CEO, David Jeffreys believes that this award highlights the importance of Digital Transformation in business and credits those who embrace it:

Munster Bovine’s vision was to build a unique app for dairy and beef farmers that would interpret their herd data and present real insights and recommendations, creating meaningful value for the farm’s bottom line.
The objective was to deliver a novel herd management technology that combines data interpretation and decision support for all farmers and would be scalable into the future.
Dr Doreen Corridan, CEO at Munster Bovine noted that ActionPoint’s passion, in-depth knowledge and experience in software development has been an important success factor in the commercialisation of FarmOps.
